Fall Break Service Trip Update!

Creighton is currently on fall break. Yet 48 members of the community are currently on Fall Break Service Trips with either the Creighton Center for Service and Justice or Creighton’s Campus Ministry. They’re traveling across the country immersing themselves in a number of communities. When they return we will have trip reflections posted to the blog. Until then check out the CCSJ’s blog for updates from the trips. To learn more about the CCSJ’s service trips check out their promotional video!

Resident Advisors Kayla Zobel and Tim Nendick (Both in lower left) are currently on their own service trip in El Paso, Texas. While in El Paso they’ll be immersed in borderland issues such as immigration, poverty and criminal justice. They are being hosted by a local non-profit that specialized in border immersion trip, Project Puente. For more a reflection on Project Puente and it’s border immersion trips see my September 2, 2010 post Up Against The Wall.
