Cortinians In The Press

This week’s issue of The Creightonian featured an opinion article by Cortina resident Rose Olsen, who is currently spending a semester in the Dominican Republic. The article, found here, records her observations at the Haitian-Dominican border.

Justice For Our Neighbors, one of the Cortina Community’s service sites was also highlighted in an Omaha World-Herald article published yesterday (March 25, 2011) in the Midlands section. It can be found here.

This week the Cortina Community is hosting Fr. G. Simon Harak, SJ. Fr. Harak is the Director of The Center for Peacemaking at Marquette University. On Sunday he will lead the community in a retreat entitled “Jesus as a Non-Violent Advocate.”
